Half our work happens on jobsites
Downtime on a jobsite doesn't just cost the repair. It costs the crew standing around, the schedule slipping and the rental you didn't want to pay for. Getting the machine fixed where it sits is often the fastest way back to work.
A lowboy haul both ways costs real money, and some machines aren't moving anywhere under their own power. That's why our service trucks work jobsites all over the area: Cypress, Katy, Tomball, Waller, Hockley and the rest of greater Houston. If the repair makes more sense done where the machine sits, that's where we do it.
Crane-equipped trucks
Our field trucks carry cranes, welders and a full set of tooling. That means we're not limited to hose swaps out there. We pull cylinders, change components, do track work and weld on buckets and booms right on your site.
What we do in the field
- Diagnostics, including computer diagnostics on late-model machines
- Hydraulic hoses, cylinders and leaks
- Electrical troubleshooting, starters and alternators
- Track and undercarriage work
- Welding on buckets, booms and attachments
- Preventive maintenance on your schedule
How a field call works
Call the shop and tell us where the machine sits, what it is and what it's doing. If it sounds like a field fix, we load the truck with the likely parts and head out. If we can tell from your description that it needs the shop, we'll say so up front instead of billing you a trip to find out. Either way you know what's happening and roughly what it costs before work starts.
When the shop is the right call
Engine overhauls, machining, press work and big teardowns are cheaper and faster in our shop on Telge Road. We'll tell you straight which way to go before anything starts, along with what it's likely to cost. Call, describe the machine and the problem, and you'll talk to a person, not a queue.
