Equipment diesels only
The engine is the most expensive thing on the machine to get wrong. Guessing at a diesel problem burns money in parts, and ignoring one burns the engine. The fix is a proper diagnosis first, every time.
We work on the diesel engines in construction equipment: excavators, dozers, skid steers, backhoes and wheel loaders from Caterpillar, John Deere, Case, Komatsu, Volvo, Bobcat, Kubota, Kobelco and just about everybody else. One thing we don't do: on-road trucks. No semis, no dump trucks, no bucket trucks. Off-road iron is what we know, and it's all we do.
Diagnose first, then a straight answer
Modern equipment engines don't give up their secrets without the right software. We run current computer diagnostics, including dealer-level John Deere diagnostics, plus the old-fashioned checks that still matter: compression, leakdown, fuel pressure, cooling system. Once we know what's wrong, you get the cost and the timeline before we put a wrench on it.
From an injector to a full overhaul
- Hard starts, low power, smoke and fuel issues
- Injectors, fuel systems and turbos
- Cooling system repairs and head gaskets
- In-frame and out-of-frame overhauls
- Machining support in-house
Rebuild or replace, honestly
Not every tired engine deserves an overhaul, and not every knock means the end. Sometimes the right answer is an in-frame, sometimes a reman swap, and sometimes it's running another season and budgeting for it. We price out the options and give you our honest read, because we'd rather keep a customer for the next thirty years than oversell one job today.
In the shop or in the field
Smaller engine work often happens on the jobsite through our mobile field service. Overhauls come to the shop on Telge Road in Cypress. Either way, call first and you'll talk to a person, not a queue. We've been doing this since 1993 and we'll give it to you straight.
